Handbook of the Voronezh diocese, issued as a special supplement to the Voronezhskie eparkhialnye vedomosti for 1900 (216 pp.). It covers the history and boundaries of the diocese, the bishops, diocesan institutions and monasteries, and above all the list of churches, parishes and serving clergy as of 1898 by district (Voronezh, Nizhnedevitsk, Zadonsk, Zemliansk, Korotoyak, Biriuch, Valuiki, Ostrogozhsk, Boguchar, Pavlovsk, Bobrov, Novokhopersk) with names of priests, deacons and psalmists, parish land, households and souls, and postal addresses; also church schools, Old Believers and sectarians, missionaries. The southern districts had a large Ukrainian population.
